DELTA | Models are locked in on the track of the storm. It will make landfall very close to the spot where Laura hit in late August, just east of Lake Charles, Louisiana. The storm is forecast to come ashore Friday afternoon as a category 2 storm. Though strong, the severeity of the damage will be magnitudes less than what Laura brought to the region. Unfortunately with many places still waiting for repairs from Laura, the storm will just make things worse. With the storm more than 600 miles west of Tampa Bay, even the panhandle will avoid any direct impacts from this one. ... See more
