UPDATED 12/24/2021 for the following year (2022).
Summer is in full swing here in beautiful panama City Beach and our beloved Venture Out. The resort is crazy full and there is limited parking. We get a lot of calls asking about parking and third cars. So I thought it would be a good subject for a blog post.
Venture Out Resort will only allow renters to bring in 2 vehicles (cars, trucks, vans) they do not limit motorcycles at this time. The registration fee (if pre-registered online at least 48 hours in advance the fee is $65 if registering on arrival the fee is $75) includes your first vehicle, every rental unit and lot has a registration fee whether you have a vehicle or not. If you bring in a 2nd vehicle they charge an additional $75.00. Motorcycles are $20 each after the initial registration fee. This fee is voted on and determined in the Fall for the following year by the Board of Directors of the resort. They can change them at any time, but usually it is decided in September or October for the following year.
Panama City Beach has a few paid parking lots for overflow parking. If you do need to bring 3 or more cars, this will be your safest bet. I can not recommend parking in store parking lots as many of them are now towing vehicles left over night. Click here to see all the info for the city ran public parking lots: https://www.pcbfl.gov/about-us/visitors/public-parking
These lots are located at 9941 Thomas Drive, 600 Henley Drive, and 11117 Front Beach Road.
If you have questions regarding the use of these lots, please contact the Public Works office at (850) 233-5100 ext. 2400.
Boats and jet ski’s also carry a registration fee. As of this writing, Jet ski’s are $15 a day each and boats are $100 a day in the peak times and $50 a day in the off season. At this time the peak season is May 1st to Labor Day and all other times are at the off peak rate. There are several Marina’s close by that have boat storage, Pirates Cove (directly behind Venture Out), Treasure Island Marina and Light House Marina.
Boat trailer or utility trailers are $9 plus tax a day. Security will assist you on where you can park.
If you have questions or concerns about any of the registration fees or dates please call the Venture Out Resort office at 850-234-2247 extension 0. We are your rental agency, but they control the rules of the resort and the registration. Any questions or concerns about your lot/unit or golf cart comes to us but anything to do with the resort amenities, parking, rules etc. go to them.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion and answers some commonly asked questions.
